A queer collective and party series born in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Eau De Cologne brings together music, diverse forms of art and radical self-expression. Rooted in the LGBTQ+ community, we create spaces for connection, experimentation and the freedom to express ourselves on our own terms.
Our Story
Eau De Cologne was founded in Tbilisi in 2022.
It started with a simple idea: to create a place where queer people could freely explore and express their identities, sexuality and desires.
Our first parties took place at Left Bank before BASSIANI became our home in 2023. What began as a party series has gradually evolved into something more: a shared cultural space shaped by music, art and the people who bring it to life.
More Than a Party
Music is at the heart of what we do, but we have never been defined by a single genre or format.
Moving between house, techno and beyond, we embrace diverse sounds, unexpected directions and artists who aren’t afraid to experiment.
Performance, drag, visual art, fashion and installations are integral to our identity. Together, they transform each gathering into an immersive experience where the boundaries between artists and audiences begin to dissolve.
For us, the dancefloor is a place of creative freedom, where experimentation, unconventional ideas and different forms of expression can exist without compromise.
Freedom & Care
Eau De Cologne is a sex-positive and body-positive space that celebrates individuality and difference.
We challenge conventional expectations of bodies, beauty, gender and sexuality. Fashion and dress become another language of self-expression, whether extravagant, provocative, experimental or entirely personal.
This freedom is built on mutual respect, consent and care for one another. Privacy, a thoughtful door policy and a no-photo approach help create an environment where people can feel protected and free to be themselves.
From Tbilisi to Beyond
In Georgia, where queer visibility and freedom face growing challenges, our gatherings carry a particular significance.
The dancefloor is more than an escape from everyday life. It is a place for connection, solidarity and the freedom to exist on our own terms.
But queer life is not defined by resistance alone. It is also about joy, intimacy, pleasure, creativity and the simple freedom of being together.
Over the years, Eau De Cologne has grown beyond Tbilisi, sharing our culture and experiences internationally through Roskilde Festival, WHOLE Festival, New York’s BASEMENT and Berlin’s KREUZWERK.
These connections are a natural extension of our story, which began in Tbilisi and continues to grow beyond it.
